Dyno Testing
We are able to test all makes of dampers and a selection of McPherson strut assemblies such as: |
| |
Fox |
Penske |
Ohlins |
Proflex |
WP |
Bilstein |
Reiger |
Koni |
Moton |
Leda |
Eibach |
C2P (Stryke) |
Protech |
Spax |
Avo |
Gaz |
| |
And any others…
While we are not able to service or repair some of the above dampers, We can run a number of tests on the Dyno to evaluate the performance and characteristics of the shock.
Dyno testing will provide the ability to check for and understand: |
Adjuster performance/ operation |
Adjustment range |
Damper matching |
Leaks and damage |
Performance drop or change across the working heat range |
| |
Once the Dyno testing is complete a full print out of the test traces is provided showing the dampers characteristics and the adjustment range within that shock.
The graphs will also show up faults (if any are present), and you will receive an engineers report on the condition and performance of the shock along with any recommendations for servicing that may be required. |

DAMPER DYNO TESTING SERVICE
The dyno testing service is an excellent way of tracking any inconsistencies in a shock which may arise from exhausted parts or improperly maintained shocks. The dyno testing service is also useful when looking for the ideal track setup, where the shocks can be dyno tested before and after a revalve service showing their new characteristics. Every customer will receive a personalized dyno sheet showing the shock's characteristics throughout the adjustment range. |
