Special “smooth bore” seamless Alloy Steel Body
Features a high flow, large bore damping piston utilizing the highest quality valve shims available
Nitrogen gas pressurized (150 – 250 psi)
Teflon lined steel spherical bearings
Hard- Chrome 5/8”, 7/8” and 1 ¼” Steel Shaft. (1 ¼” is considered an air shock)
Billet Aluminium end caps and eyelets
Available with or without remote reservoir, compression and rebound adjuster. ( 3 way available using Penske reservoir)
Dual – lock billet preload adjustment rings
Dual- rate spring guides with hardware for 2.5” or single rate 2.25” springs
Customer rebuildable and revalvable
Every damper is hand built by Prolinx to exact customer specification, and includes 60 day revalve guarantee

8760 Damper

The most widely used damper in the Penske range for professional racing. The units are 3-way adjustable, incorporate independent High and Low speed compression adjustments with a single rebound adjuster. Available in piggy back and remote configuration, each damper is built and valved to exact customer specification.
 

8100 Damper

The most widely used damper in both professional and clubman racing, with all the features of the 8760 damper but in 2-way adjustable (single compression and rebound) guise. This makes tuning the chassis far simpler for the less experienced racer or engineer.
